Zyxel Networks has recently launched the CX4800-56F, a new 100GbE managed switch designed specifically for enterprise networks requiring high-bandwidth backbone connectivity. Featuring 48 SFP28 ports for dual-rate 10GbE/25GbE connectivity and 8 QSFP28 ports for 100GbE connections, the CX4800-56F supports a range of functionalities. These include Layer 3 routing with access control lists (ACLs), VLAN segmentation, and advanced traffic features like port mirroring for traffic analysis and IEEE 802.3ad for link aggregation.
