Refund Policy

Cancellations and Refunds

DediRock reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or otherwise restrict access to any account or service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of our policies or when necessary to protect our network, infrastructure, customers, providers, or third parties. Customers may cancel services at any time through the DediRock client portal. However, submitting a cancellation request through the client portal does not automatically constitute a refund request.  PayPal Subscription Cancellation  PayPal subscriptions and automatic payment agreements are created, authorized, managed, modified, and cancelled directly through the customer’s PayPal account.  Cancelling a service through the DediRock client portal, allowing a service to expire, terminating an account, removing a payment method from the DediRock client portal, or requesting service cancellation does not automatically cancel an existing PayPal subscription or automatic payment agreement.  Customers are solely responsible for logging into their PayPal account and cancelling any PayPal subscription or automatic payment agreement before the next scheduled billing date. Customers should verify directly with PayPal that the subscription has been successfully cancelled.  DediRock does not have the ability to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate a customer’s PayPal subscription or automatic billing agreement on the customer’s behalf.  Recurring payments processed through an active PayPal subscription are considered customer-authorized transactions until the subscription has been cancelled within PayPal.  Failure to cancel a PayPal subscription through PayPal, including situations where a customer cancels only the underlying DediRock service, does not constitute an unauthorized payment, billing error, fraud, or grounds for a chargeback, payment dispute, or refund.  If a PayPal subscription payment is received after a service has been cancelled, the customer must promptly open a Billing support ticket. Any refund request will be reviewed solely in accordance with DediRock’s Refund Policy and does not guarantee a refund or service reactivation.  Refund Request Procedure  Any refund request must be submitted by opening a billing support ticket through the DediRock client portal. Refund requests submitted through service cancellation forms, email, or other communication channels may not be considered valid refund requests.  Failure to submit a refund request through the billing ticket system within the applicable refund window may result in the request being denied.  Refund Policy  Unless otherwise explicitly stated, all services provided by DediRock are non-refundable once provisioned.  Refunds will not be issued for reasons including, but not limited to:
  • IP-address reputation or blacklist status
  • Routing preferences or routing performance
  • Network path or upstream carrier selection
  • Delivery or provisioning delays
  • Software compatibility or configuration issues
  • Customer misconfiguration
  • Performance expectations
  • Changes of mind after ordering
  • Failure to review the applicable service specifications before ordering
  • Any other technical or non-technical reason not expressly covered by an applicable refund guarantee

By purchasing services from DediRock, the customer acknowledges that internet routing, IP reputation, and third-party network conditions may be outside DediRock’s control.  Dedicated Server Refund Window  Dedicated servers may qualify for a one-day refund-request window beginning at the time of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted through a billing support ticket within twenty-four hours of the order time.  After the initial twenty-four-hour period has elapsed, dedicated servers are non-refundable unless DediRock expressly agrees otherwise in writing.  VPS, Storage VPS, Shared Hosting, and Reseller Services  VPS services, Storage VPS services, shared hosting, reseller hosting, and related services are non-refundable once provisioned unless an applicable product description or written offer expressly provides a refund guarantee.  Refund Discretion  In rare circumstances and solely at DediRock’s discretion, a refund request may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  If a refund is approved:  Payment-gateway and processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount where legally permitted.  Currency-conversion fluctuations may affect the refunded amount.  Refunds may be issued through the original payment method, account credit, PayPal, mailed check, or another available method depending on processor policies.  The customer may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to verify the payment and intended refund recipient.  Payment Processor Limitations  Payments older than sixty days may require an alternative refund method, including PayPal or mailed check, due to payment-processor limitations.  Approved refunds will be processed within up to thirty days. Additional time may be required for the customer’s bank, card issuer, PayPal, cryptocurrency network, or other payment provider to make the funds available.  Disputes and Chargebacks  Customers must contact DediRock through a billing support ticket before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that DediRock has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.  Opening a PayPal dispute, credit-card dispute, chargeback, or other payment reversal may affect refund eligibility and may result in suspension of the associated service while the matter is investigated.  Accounts terminated for abuse, spam, fraud, unauthorized activity, or violations of the Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds except where otherwise required by applicable law or payment-network rules.  Customers acknowledge and agree that recurring payments processed through an active PayPal subscription or other customer-authorized automatic billing agreement shall not be considered unauthorized transactions solely because the customer forgot to cancel the subscription or automatic payment agreement. Customers are solely responsible for cancelling recurring billing agreements directly with the applicable payment processor before the next scheduled billing date.

Service Suitability and Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for determining whether a particular service offered by DediRock is appropriate for their intended workload or use case prior to purchase.

DediRock offers hosting services across a wide range of infrastructure configurations and pricing levels. Lower-cost services may utilize shared node resources, HDD-based storage arrays, RAID storage configurations, or other performance-balanced architectures designed for cost efficiency. Customers are responsible for reviewing service specifications, architecture, and intended use prior to purchasing services.

Purchases made without adequate evaluation of service specifications or infrastructure design do not qualify for refunds, credits, or service adjustments.

Best Effort Services

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all services provided by DediRock are offered on a best-effort basis.

Services are not designed or marketed as mission-critical infrastructure unless explicitly stated in a written agreement.

Customers requiring guaranteed performance levels, specialized infrastructure, or enterprise-grade service guarantees are responsible for selecting services appropriate to those requirements prior to purchase.

Infrastructure Architecture Acknowledgement

Customers acknowledge that certain services may utilize specific infrastructure architectures including but not limited to:

• HDD-based storage arrays
• RAID storage configurations (including RAID5 or similar configurations)
• Shared node resources
• Performance-balanced storage systems

These infrastructure designs are part of the service offering and may impact performance characteristics including latency, I/O throughput, or workload suitability.

Such infrastructure design choices do not constitute grounds for refunds, credits, or service adjustments

IMPORTANT STORAGE VPS DISCLOSURES

Customers acknowledge and agree that the following disclosures are material terms of the Storage VPS service offering and form a fundamental part of the agreement between the customer and the provider.

Storage VPS Services, Intended Use, Performance Expectations, Performance Variability, and Data Storage Risks

IMPORTANT: Storage VPS services are specialized bulk storage products and are not designed, marketed, sold, represented, or intended to provide SSD-class, NVMe-class, database-class, enterprise transactional, low-latency, high-random-I/O, or high-IOPS storage performance.

By purchasing, renewing, upgrading, transferring, using, or continuing to use any Storage VPS service, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that Storage VPS services are designed primarily for storage capacity, backup storage, archives, file repositories, media storage, large file transfers, disaster recovery storage, and other storage-oriented workloads.

Storage VPS services may utilize traditional mechanical hard disk drives (HDDs), spinning disk storage devices, RAID-based storage systems, parity-based storage systems, capacity-optimized storage systems, and other storage architectures where storage capacity, redundancy, and reliability are prioritized over random I/O performance.

Storage VPS services are intended for workloads including but not limited to:

  • Backup repositories
  • File storage
  • File archives
  • Media storage
  • Media distribution
  • Large file transfers
  • Disaster recovery storage
  • Large sequential read workloads
  • Large sequential write workloads

Storage VPS services are not intended for:

  • High IOPS workloads
  • Small random read workloads
  • Small random write workloads
  • 4K random read testing
  • 4K random write testing
  • Database-intensive applications
  • Latency-sensitive applications
  • Virtualization platforms
  • Container hosting platforms
  • Enterprise transactional workloads
  • Workloads requiring SSD or NVMe performance characteristics

Customers whose workloads require SSD-class performance, NVMe-class performance, high IOPS performance, low latency performance, high random read performance, high random write performance, database-class performance, virtualization platform performance, transactional storage performance, or similar performance-sensitive characteristics acknowledge and agree that Storage VPS services are specifically unsuitable for such workloads.

Customers further acknowledge and agree that if their intended workload requires any of the foregoing performance characteristics, they will not purchase a Storage VPS service and will instead obtain a service specifically designed for those requirements.

By ordering a Storage VPS service, the customer expressly represents, warrants, and acknowledges that their intended workload does not require SSD-class performance, NVMe-class performance, high random I/O performance, database-class performance, low latency performance, or similar performance-sensitive characteristics, and that they have independently determined that a Storage VPS service is appropriate for their intended use.

If a customer nevertheless purchases a Storage VPS service despite requiring such performance characteristics, the customer does so entirely at their own risk and assumes full responsibility for that purchasing decision.

Customers acknowledge and agree that HDD-based RAID storage systems may exhibit significantly lower random read performance, random write performance, IOPS performance, latency performance, and benchmark results than SSD or NVMe-based systems.

Customers further acknowledge that synthetic benchmark results, including but not limited to fio, CrystalDiskMark, dd, hdparm, IOPS tests, random read tests, random write tests, 4K random tests, latency tests, or similar benchmarking methods, are not representative of the intended purpose of Storage VPS services and shall not constitute evidence of service failure, service deficiency, false advertising, misrepresentation, or grounds for refunds, credits, chargebacks, service cancellations, disputes, complaints, or compensation.

Customers expressly acknowledge and agree that Storage VPS services may experience significant fluctuations in storage performance, throughput, latency, response times, I/O wait times, benchmark results, transfer speeds, queue depths, and other storage-related metrics.

Customers understand and accept that storage performance on HDD-based RAID storage systems may vary substantially over time due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Shared infrastructure utilization
  • RAID operations
  • RAID rebuilds
  • Background maintenance activities
  • Storage optimization processes
  • Hardware characteristics
  • Disk seek operations
  • Controller activity
  • Caching behavior
  • Simultaneous customer workloads
  • File system operations
  • Backup operations
  • Data distribution across storage arrays
  • System maintenance activities

Customers acknowledge that storage performance may improve, degrade, fluctuate, vary, spike, stall, recover, or otherwise change over time without constituting a service failure or service deficiency.

Customers further acknowledge that transfer speeds, write speeds, read speeds, latency measurements, I/O wait times, benchmark results, and overall storage responsiveness may vary significantly from one workload, time period, day, week, month, or storage node to another.

No representation, warranty, or guarantee is made regarding minimum transfer speeds, minimum write speeds, minimum read speeds, maximum latency values, maximum I/O wait percentages, benchmark consistency, storage responsiveness, or performance stability on Storage VPS services.

Customers expressly acknowledge that temporary or prolonged fluctuations in storage performance are normal characteristics of HDD-based RAID storage platforms and shall not constitute grounds for refunds, credits, cancellations, chargebacks, compensation, service deficiency claims, or misrepresentation claims.

Storage VPS services are sold as storage-oriented services and not as performance-oriented services.

Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a Storage VPS service is appropriate for their intended workload before purchasing the service.

By ordering a Storage VPS service, the customer expressly represents that they have independently determined that the service is suitable for their intended workload and accepts the architectural limitations and performance characteristics associated with HDD-based RAID storage platforms.

Customers expressly acknowledge that they have not been promised SSD performance, NVMe performance, enterprise storage performance, database-class performance, specific benchmark results, specific IOPS levels, specific latency measurements, specific random read performance, or specific random write performance.

Claims that a customer was unaware of, surprised by, dissatisfied with, caught off guard by, or did not anticipate the normal performance characteristics of HDD-based RAID storage systems shall not constitute evidence of service failure, service deficiency, false advertising, misrepresentation, defective service delivery, or entitlement to refunds, credits, compensation, disputes, chargebacks, or cancellations.

Under no circumstances shall a customer’s workload requirements, performance expectations, benchmark results, storage architecture preferences, dissatisfaction with HDD-based storage performance, dissatisfaction with RAID-based storage performance, or determination that the service is unsuitable for their intended workload constitute grounds for refunds, credits, chargebacks, cancellations, compensation, service deficiency claims, false advertising claims, misrepresentation claims, or any similar claim.

Customers expressly acknowledge and agree that they will not purchase a Storage VPS service with the expectation of SSD-class, NVMe-class, database-class, low-latency, high-random-I/O, or similar performance characteristics and later seek refunds, credits, cancellations, disputes, chargebacks, or compensation because the service performs consistently with its disclosed HDD-based RAID storage architecture and intended design.

If a customer’s requirements change and they determine that their workload requires SSD-class performance, NVMe-class performance, database-class performance, low-latency performance, high random I/O performance, or similar performance characteristics, the customer agrees that the appropriate remedy is to purchase a different service class designed for those requirements rather than asserting that the Storage VPS service is defective, improperly delivered, or unsuitable for its intended purpose.

No representation, warranty, or guarantee is made regarding any specific benchmark result, IOPS level, random read performance, random write performance, latency measurement, synthetic benchmark score, or storage benchmark outcome on any Storage VPS service.

IMPORTANT: Storage VPS services may utilize traditional mechanical hard disk drives (HDDs), spinning disk storage devices, RAID-based storage arrays, and other storage technologies which are inherently subject to hardware failure, degradation, rebuild events, controller failures, firmware issues, media corruption, and other risks associated with data storage.

While reasonable efforts may be made to maintain reliable storage infrastructure and utilize redundancy technologies such as RAID, customers expressly acknowledge and agree that no storage platform can guarantee against data loss, data corruption, data inaccessibility, service interruptions, hardware failures, software failures, configuration errors, human error, malicious activity, natural disasters, force majeure events, or other circumstances that may result in partial or complete loss of customer data.

Customers expressly acknowledge that RAID is a redundancy technology and is not a backup solution.

Customers are solely and exclusively responsible for maintaining independent backups of all data stored on the service.

Customers acknowledge that no storage platform can guarantee against data loss, corruption, or inaccessibility and agree to maintain backup procedures sufficient to protect their own data, operations, and business interests.

Customers acknowledge and accept that hard disk drives, storage arrays, RAID systems, controllers, file systems, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and supporting infrastructure may fail without warning and may result in partial or complete loss of customer data.

No guarantee is made regarding the preservation, recoverability, availability, integrity, accessibility, or restorability of customer data under any circumstances.

Customers expressly assume all risk associated with storing data on Storage VPS services and acknowledge that the possibility of data loss is an inherent risk of any storage service.

Data loss, file corruption, storage corruption, array failures, RAID rebuild failures, controller failures, disk failures, storage degradation, file system corruption, accidental deletion, hardware malfunctions, software defects, or similar events shall not constitute grounds for refunds, credits, compensation, chargebacks, disputes, claims, or liability.

By purchasing, renewing, upgrading, transferring, using, or continuing to use a Storage VPS service, the customer expressly acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with HDD-based storage platforms and agrees to maintain independent backups sufficient to protect their own interests.

Customers acknowledge that the extremely efficient and promotional nature of these services reflects this limitation of liability and compensation structure.

Any credits, upgrades, resource increases, bandwidth increases, discounts, or goodwill adjustments provided by DediRock are entirely voluntary, discretionary, temporary unless otherwise stated, and do not establish precedent, future obligation, or continuing entitlement.

Requests for compensation, free services, upgraded resources, account credits, or other make-good arrangements following outages, migrations, maintenance events, hardware failures, abuse actions, routing issues, node performance issues, provisioning delays, operational incidents, or customer dissatisfaction related to promotional or discounted services may be denied at DediRock’s sole discretion.

Opportunistic Claims and Incident Exploitation

Customers may not attempt to obtain compensation, credits, upgrades, refunds, or additional resources by exploiting isolated incidents, service interruptions, or operational events.

Attempts to leverage service incidents for the purpose of obtaining free services, upgrades, or extended service time may result in denial of such requests.

DediRock reserves the sole right to determine whether a request for compensation or adjustment is reasonable based on the circumstances of the event.

Repeated or excessive compensation requests may result in denial of further adjustments or termination of the account.

Payment Processing Fees

If a refund is approved at the sole discretion of DediRock, payment processor fees, gateway transaction fees, and other non-recoverable processing costs may be deducted from the refund amount.

DediRock is not responsible for covering payment processor fees incurred during transactions.

Excessive Upgrade Requests, Repeated Requests, and Abuse of Support Channels

DediRock may, from time to time, provide complimentary upgrades, promotional resources, goodwill adjustments, account credits, discounts, or other discretionary accommodations. Such accommodations are voluntary and are not guaranteed.

Customers may not repeatedly request, solicit, negotiate for, pressure staff for, or otherwise attempt to obtain free upgrades, additional resources, account credits, discounts, compensation, or special treatment after a request has been denied.

Repeated requests for the same or substantially similar accommodation, including rewording requests, opening multiple tickets, contacting multiple staff members, or attempting to revisit previously denied requests, may be considered abuse of support channels.

DediRock reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Close tickets without further response
• Decline to engage in further discussion regarding the request
• Restrict support access related to the request
• Refuse future discretionary accommodations
• Suspend or terminate services for excessive, abusive, or bad-faith support behavior

Customers acknowledge that a denial of a request constitutes DediRock’s final position on the matter unless otherwise stated in writing by an authorized representative of DediRock.

Repeated attempts to obtain free services, upgrades, credits, discounts, compensation, or exceptions to published policies after a decision has been made may be treated as a material violation of these Terms of Service.

Support Channels, Forum Usage, and Duplicate Requests

DediRock provides multiple communication channels to assist customers, including support tickets, account communications, community forums, private/direct messages, and promotional discussion channels.

Customers acknowledge and agree that each communication channel serves a specific purpose.

Community forums, promotional threads, and public discussion areas are intended primarily for community interaction, announcements, promotions, service updates, complimentary offers, bandwidth promotions, IPv6 additions, and other general communication.

Customers may use private/direct messaging through community forums when available for general communication or to contact DediRock staff. However, technical support issues, account-specific concerns, billing matters, service problems, abuse matters, and requests requiring investigation must be handled through the official DediRock support ticket system or direct account communication channels.

Customers should not use public forum threads as a replacement for technical support, a method to escalate or bypass support queues, or a way to repeatedly request updates on active support tickets.

Opening multiple support tickets for the same issue, related issues, or the same request across multiple departments may delay resolution and create unnecessary administrative overhead.

DediRock reserves the right to consolidate duplicate tickets, close duplicate requests, redirect discussions to the appropriate support channel, or limit further communication regarding duplicate submissions.

Customers acknowledge that using the correct support channel helps DediRock provide faster, more efficient, and higher-quality assistance to all customers.

For urgent technical matters, customers should contact DediRock directly through their account support area or private/direct communication channels, and DediRock will make reasonable efforts to assist.

DediRock reserves the right to determine the appropriate communication channel for any request and to manage support communications in a manner that protects operational efficiency and service quality.

Governing Law and International Customers

These Terms of Service and all purchases of DediRock services shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America.

Customer agrees that any dispute, claim, refund request, or controversy relating to DediRock services shall be resolved exclusively pursuant to DediRock’s arbitration provisions and applicable Florida law.

Customers located outside the United States acknowledge that purchasing services from DediRock does not automatically subject DediRock to the laws, courts, refund rights, or consumer protection regulations of the customer’s local jurisdiction, except where such rights cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Hardware Specifications, Infrastructure Changes, and Platform Upgrades

DediRock continually upgrades, expands, standardizes, repairs, replaces, and modernizes its infrastructure in order to improve service quality, reliability, security, availability, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

Customers acknowledge and agree that the underlying hardware utilized to provide any service, including but not limited to processors (CPUs), storage devices, memory (RAM), RAID controllers, motherboards, chassis, power supplies, networking equipment, virtualization platforms, storage architectures, RAID configurations, and other infrastructure components, may vary between servers, locations, nodes, and deployments.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, DediRock does not guarantee any specific processor model, processor generation, processor manufacturer, processor clock speed, benchmark result, storage device model, storage controller, RAID configuration, hardware vendor, virtualization platform version, or other underlying infrastructure component.

DediRock reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to upgrade, replace, modify, standardize, repair, migrate, retire, or otherwise change any hardware or infrastructure component at any time, provided that the purchased service specifications, including but not limited to allocated CPU cores, RAM, storage capacity, bandwidth allocation, and other purchased resources, are maintained or reasonably exceeded.

Customers acknowledge that infrastructure upgrades or hardware replacements may result in changes to processor models, processor generations, storage devices, RAID configurations, virtualization platforms, benchmark results, performance characteristics, or other hardware-related attributes without constituting a service failure, misrepresentation, false advertising, breach of contract, or grounds for refunds, credits, chargebacks, cancellations, compensation, or other claims.

Customers further acknowledge that publicly advertised hardware specifications, marketing materials, product pages, promotional offers, or historical hardware configurations are provided for general informational purposes and may change over time as infrastructure is upgraded or standardized.
