Ciena’s WL6e technology, which utilizes advanced 3nm silicon, demonstrated exceptional performance by optimizing 800G connections and supporting single-carrier wavelengths at the impressive rate of 1.6 Tb/s.

Ciena reports that this technology leads to an 86% reduction in emissions per terabit of capacity while cutting space and power needs in half.
