In today’s design landscape, you’ve become as outdated as elevator music during a fire drill. Meanwhile, progress bars and skeleton screens have emerged, bringing clarity and honesty to the waiting game. They manage to communicate a sense of timing, while you just keep on whirling, leaving people in a cycle of existential dread.
It’s time for change. Either you adapt to provide real feedback, speed things up, and give some context, or we’ll have to find a replacement that doesn’t induce panic in our users.
