• ISP outages: Globally, ISP outages fell from 261 to 219, marking a 16% reduction. However, the U.S. saw an increase in outages from 73 to 81, an 11% rise.

• Public cloud network outages: These decreased internationally from 120 to 111. In the U.S., the drop was more substantial, from 82 to 69 outages.

• Collaboration app network outages: A slight escalation was observed globally, from zero to two outages. In the U.S., collaboration app outages remained stable at zero.

1. Microsoft Outage (March 3): Microsoft faced a network outage affecting communications to several regions including Canada, Germany, and India. The incident lasted approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes, starting around 11:05 AM EST. The initial disruption was traced to nodes in Toronto and Cleveland, which were later followed by issues in New York and Los Angeles.

2. Arelion Outage (March 5): Arelion experienced disruptions impacting clients across multiple locations, including the U.S. and Japan. This outage, observed at around 2:10 AM EST, continued for about 35 minutes with effects centered initially in Ashburn, VA.
