Novacore Innovations, based in Mumbai, has recently launched its NVIDIA Blackwell GPU cloud platform in Hyderabad, marking a significant advance for India’s AI infrastructure and its global competitiveness. The company has successfully secured ₹44.6 crore INR (approximately $5.1 million USD) in funding led by Rashi Fincorp, with contributions from U.S. and Abu Dhabi investors.
Founded in late 2024 by Ranbir Badwal from San Francisco and Aryamaan Singhania from Mumbai, Novacore aims to leverage India’s affordable electricity, a highly skilled technical workforce, and Hyderabad’s top-notch power grid and data center resources to provide cost-effective AI infrastructure for startups, researchers, and businesses across India, the U.S., and the Middle East.
The fresh funding will facilitate the creation of Novacore’s first Blackwell cluster in Hyderabad, enhancing local computing capabilities and enabling research teams and companies to execute advanced AI tasks without the need for overseas resources.
Novacore focuses on three rapidly growing markets: startups in India, innovators in the U.S., and enterprises in the Middle East. Clients will benefit from reduced costs, swift provisioning, and scalable GPU performance for various applications including generative AI, large language models, scientific computing, and real-time analytics. Additionally, qualifying startups and labs in all three regions can take advantage of free trial access to the Blackwell clusters.
At the heart of Novacore’s offering is the NVIDIA B200 server, the successor to the previous H100 and H200 models. This server is designed to provide up to 2.3 times higher peak performance and double the AI processing speed compared to its predecessors. It is equipped with 192GB of HBM3e memory and an impressive 8TB/s data bandwidth, enabling it to train expansive trillion-parameter models effectively. The fifth-generation tensor cores and dual transformer engines enhance training capabilities up to three times and dramatically increase inference throughput while significantly improving energy efficiency, thus lowering operational costs.
