NaWas DDoS Protection Now Available via ERA-IX in Frankfurt
NaWas has expanded its DDoS protection services into Frankfurt through a partnership with the connectivity provider ERA-IX. This extension reinforces NBIP’s mission to boost digital resilience in Europe.
The collaboration brings the NaWas service, known as the largest non-profit DDoS mitigation service in Europe, to both the Netherlands and Germany. NaWas currently serves over 130 organizations across 10 European nations, ensuring they can effectively manage the challenges of cyber threats.
Tamer Canki, founder of ERA-IX, emphasized their role, stating, "We are not a traditional Internet Exchange, but operate as a connectivity fabric with multiple services." He indicated that this partnership aims to expand the accessibility of DDoS mitigation services amid a rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape in Europe.
