Oracle Accelerates Service Delivery with Lyntia’s Enhanced OSS Automation

Lyntia Networks, a rapidly growing neutral wholesale telecom operator, is upgrading its operational support systems (OSS) by leveraging Oracle’s cloud-native communications technology. This initiative is designed to enhance service orchestration processes, enabling quicker rollouts as Lyntia expands its network and service offerings across Europe.

Operating mainly in Spain and Portugal, with additional presence in France, Germany, and the UK, Lyntia delivers a variety of wholesale connectivity services, including dark fiber, cloud connections, colocation, and VPN services to carriers, hyperscalers, utility companies, and data center providers. To support its expanding offerings and speed up deployment timelines, Lyntia has adopted Oracle’s Unified Operations solution suite, which complies with TM Forum standards.

Central to this transformation is the Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM), a scalable orchestration engine that serves as the foundation of Lyntia’s OSS framework. By automating service activation and configuration workflows, Lyntia can now deliver Ethernet Line (E-Line) services, multipoint services, and other custom enterprise solutions more efficiently and reliably.

Marta Ruperez Yague, the IT Director at Lyntia Networks, emphasized the importance of selecting a proven solution for OSS automation that aligns with their growth objectives and enhances revenue generation. She noted that by collaborating closely with Oracle and their integration partner, Optare Solutions, they have succeeded in automating key operational processes and accelerating the shift toward autonomous network operations.

The deployment is also set to incorporate Oracle Communications ASAP (Activation Service and Provisioning), which will enhance service activation across both legacy and next-generation interfaces. Lyntia is planning to subsequently implement Oracle Unified Assurance— a real-time network and service assurance platform. This will enable intelligent fault detection, root cause analysis, and automated remediation, fully integrated with OSM for comprehensive operational visibility and control.

As part of its digital transformation, Lyntia aims to transition into a more agile, software-defined connectivity provider. Andrew Morawski, EVP and GM of Oracle Communications, remarked that Lyntia serves as a prime example of how modern telecom operators can rapidly scale and compete effectively through the use of automation and cloud-native OSS. The successful rollout was made possible through the collaboration with Optare Solutions, which acted as the system integrator for the project. Their experience and domain expertise were instrumental in aligning the technical implementation with Lyntia’s business objectives.

Overall, Lyntia’s strategy for automation is expected to pave the way for further growth, enhancing service flexibility, improving customer experiences, and lowering operational costs.
