GoDaddy Domain Academy has launched a unique contest to challenge six domain investors to see who can make the most profit from $500 worth of domains within one year. This competition is designed to mimic the experience of new domain investors, giving them a set budget and timeframe to sell their domains.
As one of the participants, I shared insights in a recent podcast episode about my strategies for finding domains to buy. During the show, I discussed two artificial intelligence tools that I rely on to discover domains available for hand registration, as well as how I use ExpiredDomains.net to identify expiring domains for purchase.
I’m aware that typically, I don’t sell domains within the year of acquiring them, making this contest particularly challenging. I aim to refrain from leveraging my platform, Domain Name Wire, or my personal brand to boost sales, as new domain investors lack similar reach. However, I may reconsider this approach if it becomes apparent that one of my competitors, Mike Cyger, is likely to win.
