Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) has announced two new Senior Director appointments to aid its rapid growth and the implementation of hyperscale projects.
David Hyatt will take on the role of Senior Director of Development and Delivery for the UK and Europe. With over 15 years of experience in the hyperscale data center sector, he has successfully led teams that delivered hundreds of megawatts of capacity. His past positions include leadership roles at Iron Mountain Data Centers, Yondr, and ISG. David will head the strategy and execution of Site Development, Design, Commercial, and Delivery across the UK and Europe, bringing expertise in strategic planning, sustainable design, and safety.
Florian Hoyndorf has been appointed as the Global Senior Director of Commercial Investment and Asset Strategy. Florian boasts 25 years of experience in corporate real estate and development and has previously co-led an investment and development firm. He held significant positions at Cromwell Property Group, Logista, Amazon, and ALDI. Most recently, he was Head of Development Europe at Cromwell, where he demonstrated strong skills in team leadership, operational enhancement, and financing large-scale projects. At Colt DCS, Florian will shape corporate development and asset strategy while also sharing his knowledge as a visiting professor at ESCP Business School across several campuses.
