Newfold Digital has announced that its domain auction platforms, NameJet and SnapNames, will be the primary auctioneers for expired domains from BlueHost and HostGator. Both of these hosting companies are part of Newfold Digital.
Prior to November 2023, BlueHost registered domains via Launchpad or Enom, but now they have switched to Network Solutions. BlueHost operates as an accredited registrar through FastDomain, which manages approximately 1.3 million .com domains.
The primary sources of inventory for NameJet and SnapNames have traditionally come from Network Solutions and Register.com. These registrars are known for having some of the oldest domain inventories, as they have been in operation for a long time. This latest development is expected to further bolster the offerings of both NameJet and SnapNames.
